We know that the most effective way to make change is by talking to people. We know our country is divided and the best way to bring everyone together is one conversation at a time. Red Wine & Blue teaches women how to strike up those conversations with friends, family, and neighbors, focusing on common sense and shared values.

We're going to need to knock on doors and phone bank to get out the vote for the midterms in 2026 - we may as well get practice finding our voices calling Congress now!
What's Happening with Project 2025?
Trump was frustrated at the push-back he encountered during his first presidency. He learned that the constitution provides for checks and balances on his power, that he is not above the law, and that most lifelong civil servants take their oath to defend the constitution seriously, no matter their party.

So Russell Vought and others at the Heritage Foundation spent Biden's presidency writing Project 2025, a manual for dismantling our government QUICKLY, before any resistance could form. The project's objectives are deeply unpopular with the vast majority of the American public, so Trump claimed he had nothing to do with it while he was running in 2024. And yet he nominated Vought his Director of the Office of Management of Budget, who the Republican-dominated Senate confirmed.

This website is tracking what percent of Project 2025's objectives have already been met. It's pretty scary to see how much of this agenda was accomplished within the first 100 days (roughly 42% of the entire plan!)

Red Wine & Blue also has a detailed Project 2025 tracker that allows you to easily see, issue by issue, what destructive changes have already been made to the freedoms you hold most dear.

They also offer suggestions for fighting back on each issue, so don't lose hope - FIGHT BACK! Make those phone calls! Convince congress that they will lose their seats if they continue to support these deeply unpopular positions.

Some folks hate making these phone calls. They worry they will say the wrong thing (remember, 5calls will provide scripts for you!) or feel like they are talking to a brick wall, or that their representative is already on their side and thus doesn't need to hear from them. We need to be sure our reps are hearing from us, because I guarantee you they are hearing from the vocal minority on the other side. We need to call to thank them when they do the right thing, and demand a spine from them when they aren't.
There are also letter writing campaigns, but the consensus seems to be (as told by congressional staffers) that calls to your own representative are the most effective form of contact. Remember in Trump's first presidency when he tried to get Congress to repeal the Affordable Care Act? The phones rang off the hook. People took to the streets in large die-in protests. We made our voices HEARD. And John McCain was a hero who voted "no" with his thumbs down vote and saved the ACA for us all.
Calls are one of our most important tools for making change, so we strongly encourage you to give it a try! But for those who are too busy, or too shy to pick up the phone, #OnlyOnePersonProtest Challenge has a final option for you: Donate!
